The purpose is to construct and maintain efficient systems for transporting water, waste, gasses, or hot liquids.

 

Responsibilities

    Analyze or design the layout of plumbing, sewage disposal, and water service systems by reading blueprints and sketches.

    Pipes and tubes should be cut, constructed, and fitted while basic infrastructure is taken into account (e.g. electrical wiring)

    Systems for supplying water must be constructed and kept in good working order.

    Troubleshoot and repair water system lines (e.g., leaks)

    Install and operate liquid and gas central heating (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.)

    Implement trash disposal and sewage systems and DWV systems that work well.
