Electricians are classified into four types

Residential electricians operate in residential settings ranging from single-family homes to big apartment complexes.

Commercial Electrician Leeholme performs in office buildings, retail establishments, schools, hospitals, and industrial plants that do not require high voltage. These electricians install and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings that are already in place, as well as new construction and remodeling projects.

Industrial electricians maintain and install electrical components and machines found in industrial environments. Dealing with high-voltage electricity in commercial supplier factories is one example.

Low Voltage Electricians - As the name suggests, these electricians work with low-voltage systems such as voice, data, and video (VDV) networks and systems. These individuals are sometimes referred to as VDV electricians or Voice-Data-Video electricians in the business. Their work often involves the maintenance and installation of phone lines and fiber optic cables in any situation where these materials are employed.

Some states will mix several of these classifications. Certain states, for example, may merge residential and low voltage into a single category. Others may lump commercial and industrial electricians together.

Aside from categorizing electricians by position, they can also be separated into three further groups depending on experience and training:

Apprentice - These electricians-in-training operate for several years under the guidance of an experienced expert before advancing to the journeyman level.

Journeyman - This title is conferred after an electrician finishes their internship and is declared competent in their profession by a state-approved authority.

Master - Master electricians are classified as journeymen who have years of experience in House Rewiring Leeholme and have established high-level proficiency in a state-approved exam.

As you might expect, the criteria and scope of work for each level are defined by the state's electrician license regulatory agency.
